We have recently received planning permission to make some exciting changes to our Village Hall, we will update these pages with more information as it becomes available.
For now, here is some of what we have done already!
Hall Improvements – Summer 2015
In Summer 2015, Tingewick Village Hall applied for, and was successful in obtaining a grant of almost £15,000 to re-clad the wooden exterior of the Hall and to introduce insulation into the “wall cavity”.
This is in addition to the planned additional work of replacing the entire Kitchen floor.
Bus Shelter Improvements – Summer 2015
The committee took it upon themselves to make the area surrounding the bush shelter more appealing to users of the hall. After consulting with Buckingham Garden Centre to get the right plants for the area it now looks more presentable and will only get better as the plants grow.
West Side Of Hall – Summer 2013
We have had some more work done over the summer of 2013 – on the West Side!
We have also replaced the old storage shed on the West side of the hall
Removal of the Ash Tree – Summer 2012
Into the Autumn of 2012, regretfully we commenced the job of removing the old Ash Tree standing near the Bus stop on Main Street. The work has now been completed, watch this space on what happens next…
Rear of Hall – Summer of 2011
